Mami’s Illam Pure Veg Restaurant
Mami’s Illam Pure Veg Restaurant is a veggie (and vegan-friendly) winner tucked inside Discovery Gardens. Here, you’ll find families packed in to enjoy a traditional all-vegetarian meal. To add their charm, there are lots of rules at this restaurant, where sections of the menu are served only at specific times, specific days. For example, their beloved Vegetable Masala is only available after 7.00pm on Wednesdays. Everyone recommends the thali, made up of 8 different dishes, as well as their paneer masala served up with charred chapatis. Oh and it’s a total bargain too – you’ll leave here with your tummies and wallets very happy.

Nuez Café is an all-new raw and plant-based coffee and dessert stop where you can feel at home. All their vegan desserts (think cakes, gelato and pastries!) offered are gluten and refined sugar free. Drop by during the day to try out one of their many sweet treats on offer with a coffee, or even a smoothie. Open late, this also the perfect place to visit for post-dinner ice cream fix.
