A go-to for fresh, handmade foods and organic teas and coffees, Pret A Manger is one of our favorite choices for an affordable and tasty lunch. One of the reasons we are always banging on about Pret is convenience: with 20 locations across Hong Kong (and many in MTR stations), #HKLife is that little bit healthier thanks to the UK chain. No doubt Pret is also feeling the love for our fair city: they launched the Veggie Pret menu in Hong Kong earlier this year, which proved to be a runaway success for the company! While everything is prepared with natural ingredients, free of additives and preservatives, it stands to reason that some items on Pret’s menu are a bit healthier than others. Organic Coconut Latte
Using 100% Arabica and organic coconut milk, this healthier alternative to dairy is a Pret staple. We have to admit: this vegan-friendly fixture has saved us many a mornings while braving through the Admiralty MTR.
Organic Turmeric Coconut Drink
Move over Pumpkin Spice Lattes, turmeric is having a moment and it is so good! Made with steamed coconut milk with a hint of ginger spice, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg, this creamy, dairy-free beverage will have you feeling all the feels this fall.
