BREAKING: MANA! Central Is Moving To Soho

After many years in the running, Hong Kong’s beloved fast casual plant-based chain MANA! will be closing up its Wellington Street Central location due to plans to demolish the building they have called home since 2011. But fans won’t have to fret – the café will be moving to the nearby Soho area on Staunton Street in May, right next to the escalator. Until then, MANA! Central will still be up and running until the end of March for you to grab your favourite zaatar-filled flat.

Address: MANA! Soho, 8 Staunton Street, Central.

Sai Kung’s favourite Casa Tapas Bar has just rebranded to 2084 – with a whole load of new vegan and vegetarian offerings. While the bar will still serve some omni dishes, you can expect a range of Asian-inspired plant-based tapas, from pan-fried momos to peking oyster mushroom wraps and a spicy mapo tofu to die for. They also have a good range of gluten-free choices on offer. What’s not to love?

SingaLings Updates Menu With Huge Plant-Based Selection

Though not technically a plant-based restaurant, SingaLings in Sai Kung deserves a shout-out for its range of vegan fare on its menu. We’re talking avocado on turkish toast, soy yogurt muesli, Mexican-style beans on sourdough, tofu scramble and vegan sausages – and that’s just their breakfast menu. In addition to 100% plant-based pizza among loads of vegetarian and vegan mains available for lunch and dinner, SingaLings even offers a range of vegan desserts, such as their moreish gluten-free chocolate mud cake.

Expect a delicious selection of Chinese, Japanese and fusion Western vegan and vegetarian dishes (all clearly labelled!) and an impressive salad bar and dessert station too. Be warned – Everyday Veggie gets super busy at peak times, so it’s a good idea to reserve ahead.
