Join us for an evening of #foodwithastory as we explore Indonesia’s fiery sambals. Indonesian culinary activist Lisa Virgiano will introduce the culture & history of sambal and do a sambal recipe demo. This will be followed by a specially created sambal pairing dinner.

6.30PM: Welcome Drinks

7:00PM: A talk through the history, health benefits and cultural significance of Indonesia’s favourite

Soto Ayam Kaum: Clear free-range chicken soup flavored with fresh turmeric served with Sambal Soto

Sate Iga Babi Bakar: Chargrilled pork belly satay and grilled scallions with Sambal Kecap

Sate Lilit Pak Oka: Chargrilled seafood satay Balinese style served with Sambal Matah

Bebek Goreng: Crispy fried duck and Urap salad served with Sambal Temporyak
