Luckily Green Queen is here to help! We scoured the city and found three awesome eco-friendly paint brands to keep in your interiors black book. All of the companies below produce products that are safe for kids and pets, while leaving your home looking as amazing as your air quality will be.

513 Paint Shop
Located in design mecca PMQ, 513 Paint Shop is a style-forward paint shop that stocks a selection of water-based, toxin-free, low-VOC, and environmentally-friendly paints. They develop their own colors and do all their own paint tinting for their various, and always evolving, paint collections right here in Hong Kong. Currently they offer over 60 bespoke color choices in three collections with whimsical names like Pixie’s Whisper, and Elves’ Footsteps. To help make your artistic dreams come true, they also offer a selection of metallic paints, chalkboard paint and even magnetic paint. Want to up your home decor game even more? They offer handpainted cotton velvet which is painted in their Hong Kong workshop and can be customized to your requirements, resulting in a totally unique look.

Mythic Paint

Mythic Paint is a line of paints from the US that is water-based, VOC-free and toxin-free. Mythic Paint holds 26 patents for its paints: they pioneered a unique formula that recreates latex paint without any toxic solvents. Their selection includes primers, indoor and outdoor paints in a variety of finishes and sheens- all products were developed with durability and professional usage in mind. Fortunatley, Mythic Paint is available here in Hong Kong and their website showcases an extensive color palette (they offer 1, 200 color choices) so you are sure to find your dream hue!
