Woo Qiyun is a Singaporean environmentalist and self-taught illustrator, and she has become a leading voice in the environmental movement. A sustainability advocate for the Instagram generation, her account @theweirdandwild takes a unique approach to communicating complex scientific concepts through illustration and has helped to engage and inspire people of all backgrounds to take action towards a more sustainable future. She also writes for publications such as The Straits Times, GRAZIA, Singapore Policy Journal and Green Queen. Qiyun's work has been featured in numerous publications and exhibitions around the world. Her illustrations have been used in educational materials, campaigns, and publications to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change. She's also a National Geographic Young Explorer and Eco-Business A-list Youth.
