Locofama

Best known for its tasty and healthy dishes made with organic ingredients, Locofama’s menu caters to every type of diner and features vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, gluten-free and pescatarian options- definitely something for everyone in your crew.

Mak Mak is a super vegetarian-friendly Thai restaurant with a wide range of plant-based dishes that can be prepared vegan on request. An ideal spot for a date night or a dinner with your besties.

Loyal Dining

Thanks to Green Monday, vegans can now enjoy famous local dishes like claypot rice and fried flat noodles, to name a few, thanks to pork alternative Omnipork and clever use of bean curd. 100% plants and 100% Hong Kong style tasty- it’s a winning combo.

Camper’s

While they don’t have sushi, Camper’s is the place to go to indulge in mouth-watering Japanese curries. They have loads of omni options but their signature, a 15 vegetable curry dish (get it with rice or udon), is the stuff of vegan dreams.

Ted’s Lookout

For all you burger lovers out there, make sure to check out Ted’s Lookout- the veggie burger is delish. PS- you won’t see it on the menu but they do serve it on request so remember to ask. On top of the vegetarian patty, you can also add extra toppings: we recommend the juicy portobello mushroom and the pineapple!

The Optimist

When it comes to Spanish food, The Optimist is a clear standout. Although most of their meatless dishes are served with cheese, the team is more than happy to satisfy vegan taste buds- they have a lovely selection of plant-based plates.

Tsui Wah Restaurant

Believe it or not, late night stalwart Tsui Wah is one of the very few Cha Chaan Tengs with a meatless menu, courtesy of team Green Monday yet again! And since they are open 24/7, you can enjoy the local classics vegan-style anytime of the day or night.

Shanghai Lane

Shanghai Lane has a large selection of vegan dishes, as well as a huge menu of Shanghainese omni classics. Make sure you try their signature braised wheat gluten with mushroom & black fungus – you won’t regret it.

Pizza Express

This won’t surprise anyone but Pizza Express is a winner for group-based dining. It’s family-friendly, suitable for large parties, there are locations all across Hong Kong (17 and counting), and the menu has lots of vegetarian choices that you can easily veganize (sadly they don’t do vegan cheese at all outlets, only in Sai Ying Pun and at Mira Place).
