ReThink HK is co-organized by the Business Environment Council, Hong Kong’s leading body championing the interests of the environment and enabling the shift to a low carbon economy.

The one-day Summit will invite experts from different fields to speak on topics covering important issues. These include sustainability trends that are critical for businesses, insights into the plant-based revolution, collaborative partnerships that help tackle challenges like food waste, and setting corporate ESG strategies to achieve a net-zero future.

Through its food tech innovation arm OmniFoods, Green Monday Group encourages food choices that are better for the planet. The brand recently expanded its plant-based range to include seafood alternatives like a classic fillet—the world’s first non-breaded plant-based fish fillet, “OmniSalmon” and “OmniTuna”. One of OmniFoods’ achievements is slashing its prices by double digits to achieve price parity with pork in Hong Kong.

To date, the Group has secured US$100 million including its US$70 million funding round, recorded as the largest funding of its kind in Asia at the time. It has been backed by celebrities like James Cameron, Wang Leehom, Mary McCartney, and Susan Rockefeller.

The Group also launched the ‘Green Monday ESG Coalition’ to bring together businesses working on plant-based innovations to reach net-zero targets and build a resilient food system.

Furthermore, it has been named in Fortune’s 2020 ‘Change the World’ list, and Fortune China’s ’20 Most Socially Influential Startups in China’ list.
