Wellness lifestyle company Fivelements is set to launch a brand new urban wellness concept called Fivelements Habitats in Hong Kong’s busiest district. The 15,000 square foot city retreat will open its doors in July in Causeway’s Times Square mall and serve workaholic urban residents who need a regular dose of wellness in the heart of the concrete jungle. Fivelements is set to expand Habitats to two more strategic Hong Kong locations over the next 18 months, as well as other key Asian cities.

The multi-award-winning Bali-based integrated wellness company is known for its residential wellness retreats, vegetarian cuisine and sacred art programmes. With Fivelements Habitats, the founding team aspires to a higher regional mission: to bring the wellness community together in hectic cities across Asia by providing a haven for yoga, healing modalities and plant-based dining. Habitats will cater to city-dwellers facing high levels of work-related stress and demanding schedules by offering them an urban retreat space in which to recenter themselves and their bodies.

“We are very excited about the rollout of our new Fivelements Habitat urban wellness concept and to be bringing high impact wellness support to the people of Hong Kong,” said Co-Founder and Managing Director Chicco Tatriele.

Inspired by biophilic principles and the Balinese healing philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, Fivelements’s programmes are created with the intent to harmonise the connection between spirit, human and the environment, a balance often missing from the daily lives of mentally and physically stressed urban native.

“We begin with a deep understanding that our thoughtfully designed, eco-conscious spaces will amplify the intentions for transformative healing and wellness experiences,” explains Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer Lahra Tatriele.

Customers visiting Fivelements Habitat will be able to nurture their mental, physical and emotional health through self-exploration programmes, private coaching sessions, corporate workshops and daytime retreats. These activities, comprised of yoga, mindfulness sessions and movement and core conditioning, are specifically designed to cater to the wellbeing needs of city residents and will be tailored to urban routines, a key differentiation point from destination retreats designed for longer-term stays.

As well as 4 Sacred Art studios and a Wellness Sanctuary, the Fivelements Habitat experience will also feature plant-based food & beverage offerings: the in-house restaurant concept Sakti Elixir Bar will serve fresh juices and smoothies, health elixirs, tea lounges and a menu focused on local organic and gluten-free ingredients.

Fivelements recently joined the Evolution Wellness family, a portfolio of owners and operators of the largest network of fitness clubs in Asia that includes Celebrity Fitness, Chi Fitness and the Fitness First brands and is set to be a key player in the US$ 4.2 trillion Global Wellness industry.
